Check the issuing bank as well as the cashier
A Visa badge does not mean every Visa card or transaction is accepted. Card type, issuer rules, account location and merchant conditions can affect a payment.
Read fees and currency conversion information before authorising. Confirm whether card withdrawals are supported and what alternative applies if a card has expired.
Check the local cashier
For the Ireland edition, compare any EUR amount with the final confirmation screen. This Visa page explains the method; it does not claim the method is offered locally or by any listed operator.
Before you decide
Check the exact operator and product before opening an account. Read the current terms yourself; this directory does not certify a licence, test withdrawals or promise access.
If a promotion changes how you would normally spend, leave it alone. Set a time limit and a budget you can afford to lose before deciding whether to play.
