Keep the payment reference
Electronic funds transfer instructions can require an exact reference to match a payment to an account. Confirm the beneficiary and reference through the operator’s verified cashier before sending funds.
Do not assume a bank transfer is immediate. Check bank processing windows and ask support about a delayed transfer using the reference, date and amount rather than sending another payment.
